Howard University Health Sciences or HUHS provides students courses in Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences. Ever since its inception, the HUHS has conferred Doctoral and other professional degrees to more than 25,000 healthcare professionals and scientists among which most of them were from disadvantaged or under-represented population. Howard University was established in 1867 and is located at Washington DC. The various pharmacy programs offered by the university include:

  • Pharm.D at entry level
  • NTDP or Non Traditional Pharm-D program
  • Ph.D Graduate Program
  • PharmD/MBA

The tuition fee for studying Pharmacy at Howard University is very reasonable and is $16,065 per semester. However, these rates of tuition fee are subject to change. Out of 1517 applicants only 65 were accepted of which only 49 were enrolled. The total number of students for different pharmacy programs was 368. The student – teacher ratio is 62%:38%. Howard University is a renowned institute and getting degree through it can be very rewarding.
