School of Pharmacy

South College School of Pharmacy is located in Knoxville, Tennessee. The school was founded in 1882 and the College of Pharmacy became fully accredited by the ACPE in 2013. The program is designed to help prepare pharmacy students so that they will become strong practitioners who offer patient-centered care and strongly advocate for the patients while learning to work in a team environment. The college offers state-of-the-art learning facilities at their campus in West Knoxville with classrooms, laboratories and advanced tools and technology designed to facilitate learning in this type of environment. A strong focus is placed on the importance of patient care in the pharmacy industry.

South College School of Pharmacy offers a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree and has an accelerated program that allows students to finish the program in three years. Tuition at this private university is the same for in-state or out-of-state residents and is $38,000.00. The programs provide varied classes involving Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy Administration and Management and Experiential Education and Training. The school has relationships with many local institutions, medical centers and pharmacies to allow for students to receive on-site experience and training in the right environment so that they can learn from those already working in the industry.
