The Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy at East Tennessee State University is located in Johnson City, Tennessee. The school was founded in 2005 as part of the university’s expanding health and medical programs offered. The school provides a strong commitment to the education and growth of the students in the program so that they can become contributing and important parts of the local community and help patients achieve better quality healthcare through medicine therapy and the pharmacy profession. The school teaches pharmacist delivered patient-centered care that includes learning to provide medicine therapy and management services that the community can learn to benefit from greatly.

The Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy at East Tennessee State University offers a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree to its students. Tuition for the program is $30,534.00 per year for both in-state and out-of-state residents. The college is the only one in Tennessee that has colleges of pharmacy, medicine, nursing, and public health on the same campus, providing students with great opportunities for the education and interaction with others studying in similar fields all in one place. Programs include study in Pharmacy Administration, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy Practice, Clinical Research and Experiential Education to provide practical experience and applications.
