Located in the Spruce Hill area of Philadelphia, the University of the Sciences is one of the few institutions in the United States of America that have actually started as pharmacy schools. It prepares around 2,800 students for glowing careers and accommodates many of them in the private urban campus.
The university was established almost two centuries ago, in 1821. Back then, the institution was known as the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. While it has also evolved and gathers together more schools, the pharmacy college is still the most appreciated one. Furthermore, the institution hosts five different schools on site.
The tuition costs $34,336. Additional fees go up to $1,760, while insurance costs may raise to $1,518. The room and board fees are $14,108. Therefore, students who come from other areas will have to pay around $52,000. Fees are subject to change, so it is recommended to inquire about them.
The school of pharmacy is one of the oldest ones in the country. Besides, there are not too many universities that actually started as pharmacy colleges. The reputation is very good due to the popular careers of past graduates who actually came up with innovations in the medical world.
As for the programs, students may opt for doctoral, Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in pharmacy, not to mention about several other disciplines.
