Jefferson School of Pharmacy

With six different colleges and schools based on health care, the Thomas Jefferson University is one of the most complete learning institutions in Philadelphia. The institution is private and often ranks among the top 50 medical schools of the country. It supports close to 3,000 students every year, while the campus is placed in an urban area.

While the university has been opened in 1824, the school of pharmacy showed up a few years later. Today, it is committed to maintaining the quality standards at the highest possible levels. This is one of the reasons wherefore the competition for a spot is quite high.

Tuition fees change in the last year. Each of the first three years costs $34,094, while the fourth one is $46,047. There are also a few extra fees that will apply for signing up, graduating or textbooks, but they are not too high. Nonresidents will obviously have to pay more because the accommodation is counted as well.

With numerous top rankings among the best pharmacy schools in the country, the pharmacy college of the Thomas Jefferson University has a fairly good reputation within the state.

The PharmD (doctorate of pharmacy) program aims to train aspirants in all fields of pharmacy. Before starting it, students require 68 credits in humanities, chemistry, biology and a few other domains.
