College of Pharmacy

The Oregon State University is located in Corvallis and has trained more than 200,000 students overtime. It has around 28,000 students, as well as 3,000 professors. Its campus has all the required facilities. It spreads over 400 acres and is referred to as a college town.

The university was established in 1868. However, the college of pharmacy is not among the founding schools. Instead, it was erected around a century ago. It is still one of the oldest post secondary schools in the state though.

Tuition costs are relatively lower when compared to other pharmacy schools in the United States of America. Oregon residents are supposed to pay $6,720 per term. On the other hand, nonresidents are charged $11,568. There are no special tuition costs for international students.

The good reputation of this university is given by the good professor-student ratio, as well as the low cost tuition fees. It has a good rate of graduation, not to mention about the employment percentages.

The PharmD (doctor of pharmacy) degree is for pharmacy aspirants, regardless of the specialization. Students may also choose graduate Ph.D. programs in medical chemistry and pharmaceutical research. Finally, undergraduate studies are mostly offered for those who want to hunt a PharmD degree later.
