The Northeast Ohio Medical University is currently the newest medical school in the state. It is located in the silent lands on Rootstown and supports its students with a rural campus. It handles around 750 students and 400 employees.

The university was established in 1973. The pharmacy school was opened a lot later. The project was officially accepted in 2005, but the school still needed two years in order to welcome new students. Today, it is fully accredited though.

Tuition costs depend on the selected program. Normally, the fees for the doctorate in pharmacy are $21,000 to $25,000 per year. There are numerous other costs that can be applied too, such as insurances, textbooks or transportation. They are all subject to change.

Believe it or not, the professor-student ratio at the Northeast Ohio Medical University is 1:3. Moreover, the university is new, so it clearly respects the latest standards when it comes to its accreditation. The rate of employment among graduates is very convincing as well.

The programs at the local pharmacy school are not too diversified. In fact, aspirants can only hunt the doctorate of pharmacy (PharmD) degree. The good news is that it is professional and can guarantee for a very rewarding career in this domain.
